I mean I am more than familiar with the ambient genre, but the lustmord brand of dark ambient is so creepy that im hardly motivated to check others out

That alone should be why you would give it a go. There is not going t o be too much like it.

Arrgh haha aite. Which ones do you recommend I start with? This album? I have Heresy and The Dark Places Of The Earth.

Btw, quite fitting that your first review on the 'other' category is on Other =)

Yes i noticed it too, when i was rec'd it i thought they was telling me the genre. I have only heard this album, start with the 22 minute titan track. You will be able to find out whether you like it or not from that.

Pedroia, that would be a lot more impressive if you reviewed this rather than passing the headman's axe to the guy that has his head on the chopping block.

first line is an ace draw IMO
Simply described as spooky this
as spooky, this
and slaughterhouses listeners
and slaughterhouses, listeners
I'd merge that wee second paragraph with the first one
Those same listeners should also be urged not only to listen to this, but also check out some of Lustmord’s other workings.
use that 'Recommended' device when you submit the review mate
I'll have to agree with pizzamachine that this feels rushed and with SowingSeason that some sentances read synthetic and maybe a wee forced. it general you don't provide much detail in the album's sound except that its dark, brooding and ambient. one of your main points is that it may be a grower to some because its heavy and basically Lateralus in essence, but you spend most of the later half of the review explaining this and seemingly repeating yourself as well. its not necessary to go on about the process of letting a deep album sink in, because that's not only something that can be said in much fewer words but its something that you don't generally need to explain to people and really just seems to mask an overall lack of detail.
that said, the review is pretty short. its not bad but its not one of your better ones tbh. I won't neg though, but at this point I'd just recommend maybe you slow down a bit reviewing things. you seem to be spewing out lots of reviews and consequently the quality is dropping a bit. I'll give your newer one a read later either tonight or tomorrow. hope this helps, cheers mate
