i agree with shake and bake. if this was a different band that already had a sound similar to this, the album would have gotten at least like a 3.6 overall by this website. i'm definitely disappointed that they shifted this way from how they sounded before, but they're still doing a pretty good job for the type of sound they have now.

I wish I could pos this - I really do. But someone here on Sputnik once said that it was a "cardinal sin" to review an album based on comparison to the band's other work - and my eyes read this review as an expression of grief over the decline in quality. You do actually describe the album, but... I'll think this one over.
