dont feel bad. i probably read a review a month on sputnik. normally when i click on a review i'll see
the rating, see the people who rated it and then listen to it based off of that. that destroyer review
is a key example why. that review sold it so hard but that album is so fucking bad. that and i dont
care to read things on albums ive already heard.

You don't even MENTION Fleet Foxes until the fifth paragraph and that's almost halfway through the review. This is a research paper on folk music, not a review . . . .

First you troll the userbase and now you admit you never liked all of them anyway. Yet we still love you. I don't know how you do it man.

i think the ending to "the shrine/an argument" was a bet amongst bandmembers to see how many reviewers they could get to use the phrase "artistic growth" in their writeups

listened to this once on a stream, still haven't made up my mind about it. i will probably wait until it is physically released on tuesday, listen to it a few more times, and write a review or at least a soundoff. i expect it to be at least a 3 for me based off first impressions. didn't strike me as a classic, though. im guessing it will be a 3.5 for me, maybe a 4 if i like it more upon 2nd, 3rd, and 4th listens
