I think this review has better flow than most, and is definitely easy to read without being overly simplistic.
but yeah, the only real flaw with it is that I still don't have an exact idea of how Laura Stevenson and the Cans sound since I've never listened to them before -- other than there are a wide variety of instruments and it's good. Still, that's something I struggle with in my reviews sometimes (i.e. assuming the reader has some idea of how the artist sounds already).

yeah I was just nitpicking, I mean it's not hard to make the logical leap that they're like an eclectic, folksy indie-pop group. I think maybe a paragraph or even just a few sentences dedicated to about 2-3 of the standout songs (as in, what they sound like and why it works) would probably have solved all the nay-sayers issues.
for the record, I still think this is one of your best reviews and a generally great one overall (I pos'd, after all).
btw listening to the first song and liking it.
