album is a joke it basically rips-off Coil's night/dark era and takes it into a British lyrical context. Ulver should stop paraphrasing sounds and release good music not expensive compilations of cheap music and wannabe glitchindustrializedrock bullshit!

like "ripping off" wouldn't constantly be happening. And if by "good music" you mean "do BM again" I'm gonna call it right now: never gonna happen.
Agalloch has riffs that are sonically so similar to Death in June songs you could think they're almost direct copies.

yeah some acoustic chords from But What Ends when The Symbols Shatter & Brown Book were used on Mantle
& their neofolk stuff, I believe. And I'm not a close-minded metalhead, not a metalhead at all anyway,
their new music is way more interesting and complex than their bm days.
Not all their music is truly groundbreaking yet most people that are afraid of listening to SPK or
Einstürzende Neubauten believe that they are experiencing something transcendence of all things avant-
garde with Ulver. Whatev. it's annoying. Ulver is good though, and Shadows of the Sun is almost a
masterpiece, this album isn't-though.

The whole album is sonically reminiscent of Death in June's work.
Also, I'm quite familiar with Einstürzende Neubauten and other avantgard/(istic) stuff like Miasma, Janus, Angizia, Orange Tulip Conspiracy and such but I still like this.
Of course Shadows of the Sun is way better than this.

WYLD STALLYNS is what I have to say.
"Orange Tulip reformed I believe, exited to hear some new jams."
Really? That'd be sweet.

Little hellions kids feeling rebellious
embarrassed, their parents still listen to Elvis
they start feeling like prisoners, helpless,
'til someone comes along on a mission and yells "bitch"
A visionary, vision is scary, could start a revolution, pollutin the air waves a rebel
so let me just revel and bask, in the fact that I got everyone kissing my ass
and it's a disaster such a catastrophe for you to see so damn much of my ass you ask for me?
