Im not a Gwen fanboy, so I dont read her interviews. But I do know that in her videos, shes always the popular girl who everyone adores. Her songs are all about her popularity, like Luxurious and Hollaback Girl? She's just another Britney Spears or Christina Aguleira.

Ok I havent heard ALL of her songs. But all 5 of her singles are about leading the glamour life. Im making a generalization, I suppose.

I agree that the B A N A N A S thing was totally random and had nothing to do with...well, anything. But I'm not trying to deny that Billie Joe is making a statement, I just hate his popularity. Have you heard any of Gwen's No Doubt songs? Much better, and much more...relevant, if you will.

I find their b-sides the best, to tell you the truth.

Catchy but annoying.

This album has the kind of tune that gets stuck in your head even though one really, really doesn't like it.

I don't like her, I can bare to listen to her songs the first few times, but thanks to the constant overplaying by the radio station I now feel like stabbing everyone in sight when Hollaback Girl comes on. I keep noticing how bad her songs are each time, granted she's a decent singer but her songs are blargh.

I say stick to No Doubt, the old No Doubt stuff.

yes. What I mean by popular is that she seems like the brainless popular girl in school who everyone loves.

Billie Joe seems like the brainless, popular pothead in school that can't put two sentences together without interjecting the word "like".
