Tommy sounds robotic by choice...autotune and whatnot. And it's not because he can't sing either...



From live performances I've seen, where he doesn't use autotune (it can be done, I know, he just doesn't) he sounds, to me, at least 5 times better just for not having the autotune sound. I like the studio vocals too, but his voice is good enough and can actually sound emotional live...makes me wonder why they autotune it at all really.
