I've only heard their latest four (this included), won't be bothered to check out the older ones too soon, since well, they are pretty similar after all.
Their debut has a more rough edge to it which I like, and is heavier. Plus the vox are a tad different in pitch, which I also like.
I haven't heard this, but I can just throw on one of their last two albums and pretend it's this one and that it's a 3 ;) Good review.

If this album were released by another band it would get the same rating. If anything, the fact that it's Amon Amarth doing the same thing again and again goes against the final score, not toward it.
