I can sit through this whole album without changing to a different band or record. Good stuff. Can't really do that with a lot of music.

Is being mentally retarded a requirement for liking these guys? Everything I've heard seems to prove the point. Garbage.

Maybe I could teach you the rules of capitalization and how to use an apostrophe in exchange for your wisdom. Until then, enjoy your fruity viking metal, gay boy.

Personally I think this album is much punchier, has more power, than most of Amon's other recent albums, and I really appreciate that.

I was driving and there was someone walking towards me on the sidewalk with an Amon Amarth tee. I threw him the devil horns and he definitely reciprocated.

.....and then I found 5 bucks!

While the basic Amon Amarth formula hasn't changed much in 13 years, there is a definite step up in drum ability and sound between 2006 and now. Twilight and Surtur feature quite a few songs reaching near the upper 100's to low 200s in BPM, and probably 1/3 of the songs have sixteenth note triplet patterns predominantly. He didn't used to be able to do that.
