i suppose the lack of interest can be attributed to the fact that it's only really (to my knowledge) killing joke, PiL & the fall that are even putting out records, whereas sputcore is continuously 'reinventing' itself
you get a lot of post-punk legends like wire that still tour regularly but their sets almost completely ignore their first three lps (absolutely criminal considering they're charging like 20+ quid but whatever)
been meaning to check savages but apparently they just rip off siouxsie

understandable but i cant really pick one over the other, they both bring different things to the table. YOA has more layers to it and is more of a slow burner, listen in one sitting kinda deal whereas over the edge is really stripped down and immediate with more individual standouts. easily one of the best punk albums ever made
