I was REALLY surprised by this album. I wasn't expecting anything before they released "Faust", but I think it's even better than nocturne.

Oh, and I think the reason this has a (slightly) higher rating than Scurrilous is the bar was fairly low for THA after Midhaven, so the ratings have been artificially high. PtH had to try to outdo Fortress, so yeah...

On my first few listens through I was a little bit disappointed but it is starting to grow on me the more it comes up on Itunes. Even if it doesn't, it's still a great album. I guess after hearing that AJ rejoined I was expected perfection

I really like the cleans. Especially compared to Ells' cleans. Those made me cringe multiple times per songs.
And I definitely don't miss his godawful spoken word verses.
