Noctus was obviously joking though

no i wasn't

I haven't jammed them in a couple of years, but I remember them being kind of shitty. I'll listen again tomorrow. And yeah, this isn't post-black. This is atmospheric/depressive bm.

"yeah i haven't listened to it in a couple of years but i definitely know better than someone who listened to it yesterday"

:]

it's a mix of both post-black and depressive black metal, the alcest influence in the riffs and style of playing here is beyond obvious

i've been listening to it very often since it came out, it's one of those mood albums you just keep going back to, i really dig it :]

alright wiz i'll try it...but that album came out around the same time as this one, what i was looking for was older stuff

Ahhhh I didn't know you were looking for older stuff, can't help ya there. All this shoegazey bm is a direct influence from bands like Paysage d'Hiver and quite a few of the Cascadian bm bands that utilize a very fuzzy, hypnotic bm approach.

I meant I haven't heard the demos in a couple of years. I've listened to this a few times this year

I thought Noctus didn't like this album? Anyway been playing Darker Days continuously. Such a good song. New album is fantastic too.
