I posted a review on other website-All Music- stating the wrongs of this project. The idea of reuniting the old Yes and the new Yes line-ups seems to be, at first glance, good. But, it went the other way. In practice, the idea of bringing on Wakeman,Howe, Beaufort, Kaye, Rabin, Squire and Anderson was very wrong from the very beginning. The disastrous recording sessions, the ego wars-leading to split the "unionized Yes" into two camps based in NYC and LAX, the addition of too many guest musicians, a lousy production and the diminished role of several key members (Rick Wakeman and Steve Howe) turned a potentially good project into a forgettable one. Wakeman was not particularly happy with this album. In fact, he jockingly nicknamed it "The Big Onion".
