The Sickness also had the most awful filler.
IMO Ten Thousand Fists was 85% filler... but I guess the filler in that record was listenable, unlike The Sickness'.

I don't get all the hate this gets, its really good if you are into Disturbed. It grew on me, just as good as Indestructible if not just a little bit worse.

I don't know man, the entire thing just feels really weak. Even some of the "highlights" are average tracks at best.

Maybe I'm just a sucker for Disturbed, but I like this a lot. The only tracks I don't like much are Another Way To Die, Never Again, and My Child.

Those three tracks are amongst the lightest on the album. Serpentine is pretty light, too, but I love that one because I can relate to it.

They evolved in many ways (like songwriting and instrumental depth) from their nu-metal days. I don't think it would have been wise for them to stay nu-metal, both from a content quality standpoint and a sensical business standpoint. They wouldn't have gotten nearly enough fans if they just stuck with The Sickness.
EDIT: Also, please keep the massive amounts of spaces to a minimum.
