Sucks is a bit too harsh but yeah. It doesn't just extend to them never sucking though; they've only made one song (The Walking Wounded) that's really blown me away. All the rest is like 'hey, this is pretty good.'

"I feel like Bayside are reliable to a fault though. Like, they never really blow you away with a song."

Hence my summary for this review.

Bayside is an acquired taste. Acquired a long time ago.

Fun album. Title track and Already Gone are the winners here. What a great way to start and finish it.

I like that. Sums them up perfectly.

Definitley a good summer-upper. I didn't like his voice at first, but it came around. Now, I am working my way through their discography.

I think its about time for another album instead of Anthony solo and covers drudgery.

Also, I absolutely love Sinking and Swimming. May even be my favorite here.

Cool. But all their stuff is worth getting if I like what I have so far?

Yeah dude it is pretty much all good, I didn't jam shudder often but it has some choice songs as well.

Self titled and sirens are my favorite, walking and this are close.

Sweet, thanks. I kind of hate when I find out a band that's pretty far into their discography like this. I have trouble getting one thing at a time and I end up buying a bunch in a small amount of time and neglect some of it. I like following a band through their progression and buying their stuff as its released better. Oh well, better than not knowing about them at all.

I'm partial to their self-titled... Definitely their catchiest. But all their albums are so consistently great.

yeah devotion & desire along with blame it on bad luck (both acoustic versions) sold me on this band 5 or 6 years ago.

they were the closest thing i've ever found to old alkaline trio, thankfully they're much more consisitent than the trio at this point.

also, cold & blue & lifeless off their split RULES
