I just bought this on vinyl... I had to. I have the cd/dvd but I needed another version cuz it's just that good. I've seen them live, a couple of years back, saw John K Samson with the Provincial band as well as him solo this year. Hope they come back this year! Best lyricist. Ever.
If you guys didn't listen to Jim Bryson and The Weakerthan's Falcon Lake Incident album yet, you really need too. Also amazing.

yeah i own this on vinyl too. one of my favourites in my collection.
I saw Samson with his Provincial band live a few months ago and he did lots of Weakerthans stuff. he
literally asked the audience what they wanted to hear for the encore and he ended up playing like 7
songs, beginning with Plea From a Cat.... and closing with an unplugged, intimate, tear-jerking
rendition of ...Explains Her Departure.
it was fucking perfect, like this album (oh wait though this was the Reconstruction Site page, I don't
own this on vinyl and it's not perfect, but i'd like to and it's close).
