If anything, the more bizarre his music gets the more notable it is. Sure, I personally believe Choirs of the Eye--a nearly eight year old album--was his finest work, as were the two motW releases before it, but he's been getting more and more interesting, experimenting and exploring with a different sound with each release. If that isn't worthy of attention or notice, then I guess I don't know what is...It seems like you wished he go back to his old sound, and he could, but I think he's got more artistic integrity than that.

You're pretty much right in everything you said there lol. I'm but a bitter motW/early KD fan.

Yeah, I do love me some motW/early KD. I've recently, once again, fallen hard for Leaving Your Body Map....I can't choose between it or Bath!

And let it be known, I 3'd the last 2 Kayo Dots. Didn't really care for them, but like I said, I appreciate his artistic integrity

I was wondering when you'd show up.

Idk, the interludes on LYBM kick my ass (yeah, interludes I know right?)

This is a really good entry into Driver's catalog. I'm enjoying it quite a bit, especially when it's late at night/early in the morning when everything else around is quiet.

I don't even bother choosing between Bath and Leaving Your Body Map. Usually just play them back to back. Both are fantastic.

Great Review BTW.

I always had a feeling they'd go Deathcore. Glad they did.

GUYS KAYO DOT IS 3/4ths of the way to having enough money able to release the NEW ALBUM ACCORDING TO TOBY'S FB, ORDER SO THEY CAN RELEASE THE AOTY SOONER. ACCORDIN TO THE TEASER ITS THE MOST METALY THING HE's MADE SINCE BATH/LYBM. MORE METALY THEN CHOIRS: http://kayodot.bigcartel.com/ Going to spam on every Toby Driver related page.
