you can almost hear him racing for words before he raps them

the word "racing" doesn't cross my mind when listening to this

@ kygermo
T.R.O.Y. is the only reason I reviewed this album or even listened to it so I won't be doing their other album

The Basement is probably the best song of this album. I have a feeling that this'll get 5'd in a couple of weeks or so

Soul Brother #1 rules. I found it on a Tony Hawk game.

yeah but still, i'm always fascinated by what does and doesn't get attention around here. like an obscure andcas jerk-off pop punk bandcamp demo will have more ratings than an album that's a well regarded classic in its genre

yea but hip hop isnt sputnik's most popular genre. i mean theres a few guys who really dig it but this is mostly a rock / punk / metal / indie place. plus this album is 20 years old. pretty much anything older that isnt on vh1 classic isnt going to get many votes. alot of the best post-punk albums of the 80s only have like 40 votes here. its just something ive accepted ya know. newer shit gets the love and always will.

omg yeah street 2 was my fuckin jam, holy shit that game was awesome. 3 was whatever, not as good

and yeah i'm aware of that. sput obvs has a clear focus on genres, and it's mostly new releases. i
just get worked up about it cuz so much of my favorite music gets no attention whatsoever around here
and it's hopeless to try and get people to listen to it.

ha yea but it haas like 400 ratings. weird right. i just think people who rate older albums mostly arent even users who comment much. just like to rate shit.

whatever though this is why RYM is much better than sputnik. they give more than enough love to old ish
