The new album sounds ok. Just ok.
It just sounds so boring and his voice just so emotionless compared to the self titled.

I only checked out If I Need You There, which sounds awesome and another song or two and they didn't sit too well with me. His voice doesn't sound like it has as much emotion.

It seems kinda slower, and it's definitely not as raw, kinda more produced sounding.

In that AP interview Barry called Violent Inside "a creamy pop song" which kinda seems like it could be an accurate description for most of the album at this point.

Agreed with basically everything said about the new samples. A couple sounded really good but it all
seems pretty different. I know they're just samples but it's like half the song for most. That being
said I'll likely still listen to it countless times and am stoked to see these guys next month with
AJJ.
