Better review. If you like 'a little piece of heaven'for the story of necrophilia, I suggest 'heirate mich' from the German band Rammstein. The song is ten times better, as well as the lyrics, if you don't mind translating German.

Thank's for the tip. I like rammstein and I will check out "heirate mich" for sure, but I never said I like "A Little Piece of Heaven" for the lyrics. I like the instrumentals and the overall catchiness of the song

I think this song , 'a little piece of heaven' is a love or hate situation. I don't understand the creative thinking behind that song. It makes me think of the first time that I heard 'nothing else matters' from Metallica. I almost cried. I was like 'what the hell is that? What are they thinking?'.

I guess so, and I only consider it a good song not the best song ever made lol. I prefer music from the 60's-70's even tho I like all kinds of music.

The Rev was the evil genius behind it. Great musician, the day he died, so did Avenged Sevenfold.

The Rev died on my 15th birthday RIP. I neither care about or like the remaining band members and I
think their new album, "Nightmare", was worse than this album even though it had some decent tracks.

I'm impressed to see that a 15 yo boy listens to old stuff like nirvana, Pink Floyd, etc...(from your profile)

I'm 16 actually :P. And yes, most of the time I only listen to music from the 60's and 70's.
Actually, avenged sevenfold is not even a band I would recommend anyone to listen to if they're not
a fan of the genre. I have a friend who's whole family (well, not his parents) are into sevenfold
that's how I began listening to them. But yeah I guess I don't hate any kind of music, really. Every
time I find a new band to check out I start out with a positive opinion about it. If you are
negative it will just get boring becouse you you think it's much worse than it's actually is. 99.9%
of all songs have something good about them imo. Pop music is all about money nowadays so I don't
feel like listening to it too much for that reason even tho there might be some good pop songs out
there but you can't see what's so good about it becouse your too busy hating the way the music
industry works today. When the artist has nothing to do with either writing, composing or recording
the song it's not really his/her song is it? When all they sing is autotuned (yes I know they're not
all autotuned) they reach the bare minimum of what you need to be called a musician at all. Since
I'm kind of a multiinstrumentalist myself I also find nothin in modern pop music to be inspired of.
If you go from the classical music of the 18th century to where we are today musicians put less and
less love in the way their music sounds. I think it were somewhere around the 70's when all the
synthisizers and computers came that since then people started to go "Hey making music is simple as
h*** now! Wait a minute! I could use this new technology to become rich by making two 3 minute
song/hour that I can earn a million bucks on each! I dont even need to pay any musicians, buy any
instruments/recording equipment OR learn how to play anything att all, every
instrument I need I already got samples of right here on my computer!"

I'm not a musician, and for me, it doesn't seem to be easy to create a new song from scratch. I'm always impressed to see (or hear) how musicians are arriving to entertain us with new stuff.

It's not that hard to make a song, really. But if you just go ahead and think hard and concentrate
on just making a song it will most likely suck. Making a original and new sounding song requires a
creative mind and inspiration. Some people find it alot easier to be creative when "on" something
(lsd, weed etc.) You might find that insanely silly but really, making such a simple thing as a
guitar riff (that's original) is much harder than it might seem. Even tho the riff might be easy to
play and sound simple it can still be impossible to think of until that day where the riff just
plays in your head and you write it down or something. One of the things I find really hard on
guitar is playing solos. I'm kind of a beginner but still. It's almost like creating a song but you
have to create it while you're playing. In a guitar solo creativity is so much more important than
technical skill. The only more important thing than that I can think of is that you play with
feeling. You can play as fast and awesome as you want but if you add a bit of feeling to what you
play it will sound more than twice as good instantly.

I agree. Feelings are what I'm looking for in a song. I recommend that you listen to a song named 'for the love of god' by Steve Vaï. There are no lyrics but I can feel a lot of things in that song. Give me goosebumps every time.
