Yeah, fully agree with the review - I tried the All of a sudden I miss everyone and EITS really are the definition of generic post rock, solid but nothing special. I've deleted the album years ago even I've enjoyed the same tracks the reviewer has mentioned.

Mono-you are there is a compareable album and so much better, yndi halda and the evpatoria report(golevka) too, let alone gybe, except yanqui-that was on the same level as EITS - which only shows what the problem is with generic post-rock. The biggest problem is to sound fresh/relevant/interesting by using classical rock instruments only - hard to impress anyone by playing e-guitar heavy instrumental music nowadays(the last 10 years), get some strings, horns or synths ffs!

Not trying to undermine your opinion, but I think it's great how nobody thought this way when Those Who Tell the Truth (and even this) were released.

Seems like a perfect example of influence biting a band in the ass
