Had a wanting for a metal styled tele awhile ago, which turned into GAS for a PRS SC245 which then was killed when I my first Ibanez Prestige

I used to have an Ibanez before my Fender and I do want a second guitar for playing metal, but I doubt I'll ever get an Ibanez ever again. They're decent guitars for sure, but it seems like every person and their mother has one. I want something that's at least slightly unique, ya know?

Maybe Charvel...

Get a PRS Custom 22 or 24, even the SE series one's are fantastic.

The real ones are way too expensive and the SE models look really cheap to me.

I really like the SE models personally, they play and sound amazing. They're really lightweight and slim so it makes em seem frail. I'm probably gonna try and find a used real one for under or around 2 grand hopefully.

Man, that's awesome. I want a PRS so bad, it just takes alot of saving to get one. Last time I had enough saved for one I got laid off.

That's the other thing about PRS guitars. A lot of them look so nice I'm almost scared to play them.

Ibanez are pretty much easily the best bang for your buck guitar ever. And I don't see them often outside metal guys these days.

Anyways, my RGA121 is the best guitar I've ever played. And that includes a multitude of American PRS's, Fender's, Gibson's. etc

Ibanez has been kicking ass so hard this past 3 years, but I much prefer a 25 inch neck scale on a 24 fret guitar than a 25.5 neck, that little bit of space makes a huge difference. And none of the models I like by them right now have that, and it sucks because they've finally started putting good stock pickups in their guitars.

Ibanez is probably the most successful guitar company right now, just because of the whole djent/prog metal movement thing going on among young kids and bands.

I hope they are actually releasing an album this winter like they speculated... its been too damn long. Do these guys do the band part time or something?

Not everyone can be a full time band.
As long as it's as good as this album I will be pleased.
