The copy of this i had for years had locust valley as the opening track. Had to change the tracklist around when i redownloaded it because it felt weird being close to the end.

this isn't an album you can listen to out of order.

Actually, you can listen to any album in any order you want to!
I had a similar experience with Helplessness Blues, my tracklist was out of order for a solid 3 years before I realized but I didn't love it any less or more when I made the correction.

It's in a different league honestly. Might be the most singular indie rock this decade, there's nothing like it.
Found this album repulsive for a good half year after release. Hated it to the point of dependency, then 5'd it.

Sounds intriguing, will add it to the list of things to check between shoegaze albums.

i dug this on first listen, but it totally snuck up on me once winter really got cold
eventually it was literally all i wanted to listen to, i probably listened to it twice a day all the way through the winter of 2015

man i still dont know what it is about this that makes it so special and addicting to listen to but it really is

Viet cong might be betted than this. Death and continental shift are undeniably amazing.
And idk, i think locust valley is an amazing opener
