they literally can be. counterparts drummer makes the band, imo. their vocals and guitar work are too bland for me.

Well the drummer left the band a couple months ago lol. And Brendan's passion with his vocals are why they are powerful. You can tell he means every word of every song.

I love the lyrics, dont get me wrong. I love them live, which is why I think they can have better recordings. I just dont think his vocals sound as good on the current will carry us as compared when I saw them live. He just sounds better live

that sucks about the drummer. he's so good.

The Current Will Carry Us is alright. Prophets was great and the split was incredible.

I love them all equally haha. They're all different from eachother which is part of why I love that band so much. I even have their lyrics tattooed on myself so I guess I have a biased opinion cause I'm such a huge fan lol.

Also haydenslame, for me anyway, this kind of music is more about the emotion behind the vocals as opposed to how crisp they sound. Take a bad like More Than Life for example. Their vocalist is pretty terrible sounding but they are still amazing cause of the passion behind them. Idk that's just my take on it I suppose.

Holy shit, this screams my kind of metalcore. Absolute shame that they didn't get bigger.
