While it's true that it's extremely long, it's also one of the finest prog albums I've heard. The song length prevents it from being a favorite, but any fan of the band should enjoy this.
BTW, I'm still 10 minutes shy of finishing this mammoth of an album.

this album takes quite a few spins to finally sink in.......no way it can be objectively rated after one listen

I tend to prefer my prog digested. I like me some pretentious stuff now and again, but tend to prefer
the more streamlined prog albums. Hence why I prefer Rush's Moving Pictures over Hemispheres and A
Farewell to Kings, for instance.
You might say I'm not a hardcore progger in that sense.
