I almost got the vinyl but they only made 300 copies, and they were sold out first day.

I never quite know how to rate showbread albums anymore, or how to feel about them in general. I love Josh's lyrics and I love the attempt of the band to do what they feel they should. I love that they don't feel the pressure to be a certain thing or put out a certain type of album. But, like many of you, I have a hard time getting into this. I think for me it comes down to the fact that, while Josh's vocals are sufficient in most of the songs, they lack some dynamics and passion. That's why the screaming worked for me, because it added some emotional depth that isn't present in his singing vocals much of the time. I'm enjoying the album but not getting into it...if that makes sense. Good review, by the way!

This is surprisingly good. After hearing their single, I didn't expect to like it at all, but it really is pretty great. I definitely would have paid for this.
Pretty good review, Nick. An enjoyable read. Just one thing bothers me, though. In the opening paragraph you state that "Dead By Dawn" was "condoned by Christian audiences." Condone means to approve or accept something. Perhaps you meant "condemn"? Or maybe I just misunderstood that part. Whatevz. The rest of the review was nice. Good job!

"their controversial song "Dead By Dawn", which was condoned by Christian audiences for it’s glorification of horror movies"

i think you mean something other than condoned. condone implies they overlook or excuse it when I think you mean the opposite
