Yeah. Other bands might have done something similar before, but as far as I know this is the first. I don't see why thumb drives couldn't eventually become the way music is sold (physically). A lot of car stereos already have USB ports.

Sweet! I loved White Birds, but keep forgetting to get into her other work. Will definitely check this out.

And awesome review (like I expected anything less?)

Yeah, I don't actually know her and we don't even live in the same state so.... Anyway, get to rating and come back and post here after you've got to check this out.

Great music all-round. I'm always impressed by her. Very special to release it in such a way. Fan-service? Definitely. Anyways, more people have no reason to give her music a chance.

I've listened to a fair few songs by Sarah Fimm, though I've only listened to Nexus and Red Yellow Sun in totality....

Interesting fact: The title of the album relates to the concept of Outcome/Fruits of one's Karma (Phala means Fruit in Hindi), or at least that's what the title seems to imply...

31 tracks is overkill which is why I haven't bothered with latest Joanna. Good review. Might check this out.

It's not overkill. It's not like you're forced to listen to the album from start to finish every time.

I'm not sure which is worse, CDs or thumb drives, so I'll take your word for it. On the other hand, I can't see that stopping companies from going that route if it works better than discs (and is cheaper).

Well, that's why I think the coolest thing for companies to do would be to start selling Vinyl as the main physical medium and have a download code located in each album to get mp3 versions as well.
