i dont remember what a lot of those tracks are by name, but Third Planet, Alone Down There, Paper Thin Walls and Tiny Cities and Gravity Rides Everything are among the best on here. really no bad tracks at all though.

Agreed Treb the liner notes of the vinyl version have the full lyrics and I had some sort of musical epiphany to Lives

What a shitty review. "Boring" is subjective. In my opinion, this album is anything but boring. It's fast paced, but doesn't leave you out of breath. It found the right amount of balance and I think that's good. Personally, the dreamier tracks are what makes this album stand out from Good News for People who Love Bad News, No One's First and You're Next, and We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank (the albums I personally am familiar with). I do admit though, sometimes the lyrics would destroy a nice build up or the mood of the song. If anything, I think they should have emphasized the violins more and the guitars less.

The end of A Different City is so out of left field but it rules and is a good transition to the next track
