first off, in the production and the way he treats the vocals this could sound individually a lot like untrue.
and it doesn't make it utterly original, it makes it innovative(there is a distinction). it's still influences. i don't see how you don't understand how it could sound like different albums simultaneously. there are very few albums that sound just like one album. almost every artist incorporates multiple influences.
