i dunno. you have a real strong negative vibe, and only give pseudo praise to 3 songs yet you gave it a 3.5
idk i'm sure i gave it more praise than that, and i just mentioned the things i don't like about the album and that it is inconsistent (to me anyway) and i guess i focused on those too much. but i definitely said stuff like the vocals are awesome, first and last 3 songs are v strong, they play really good in the melodic sections, their lyrics are executed well, i love the vocals, the strengths of the album outweigh the weaknesses, vocals r so EMOTIONAL n da best thing about the album etc

mmmm, seemed like you've seen heaps of 4.5/5 reviews and ratings and set your expectations to the superb level, then took note of everything that sucks and felt like nobody else noticed it (which may be the case).
I don't know, I like this album, I see some of the negative qualities mentioned, but the guitar is so clear, and the heights so high and the vocals so interesting and unique (to me, probably not anyone else here lol).
Also, how dare you call people angsty teens, it's supposed to be a review, wtf man???

This has just really worn on me over the last year or so...It's still an incredibly solid album, I guess the riffs and angsty poetry (as awesome as it is) just aren't as relatable as they used to be.
Plus, that split with Touche Amore just makes it seem like they're stuck in this angsty rut...
