I think the averages on all the Tucker records are low tbh. Lots of great ideas throughout all three for me.

Specially on Formulas.

Formulas is one of their best albums, yeah.

Agreed!

I'd rank Formulas above Covenant honestly.

And yes, Blessed is a tad... lifeless, but at least it's listenable. Here it irritates me, tbh

Same. I don't care as much for Covenant as I did when I was younger.
I always revisit Gateways, Formulas and Altars. Blessed if I'm feeling fruity.

Well at least you still appreciate the fact that this thing does indeed riff and riff quite hard even if you don't love the tone.
|
| |
Yeah I jam Abominations, Altars and Formulas the most with Blessed and Gateways not far behind.

Got to be done

Formulas rules, so does Gateways though
Nothing will ever beat their first 3 imo

Including Abominations you are probably right yes.

Oh yeah, abominations rules hard bro

I appreciate it more and more every time I jam it.

I kinda dig this more than gateways tbh.

This is better than Gateways, except for the production
|
| |
The songwriting is pretty solid and I actually dig the production. It gives me the feeling of something discovered in an ancient tomb, mostly decayed. Pretty m/

If you dig the production, yeah it's a magnificient album. I try to come back to this pretty oftenly, lots of greats ideas but I can't stand that goddamn tone on the guitar and the fuzzy tone just irritates me.
|
| |
Guitar tone is pretty cool, it's the drums I don't like so much.

Album is okay. Can't complain if I have to listen to it but it's far from captivating.
