An album of pure beauty and menacing progression. The atmosphere is what makes this album the masterwork that it is, but the diversity of stunning opener 'Ethica Odini' and the brooding, laidback 'Night Sight' all contributes to how progressive this latest effort really is. Surely one of the best metal albums since 2012, and definitely one of the best Enslaved albums.

i've heard vertebrae, isa, and this a few times a piece. looking at the track listings, vertebrae was the best, followed by this, then isa. the song neogenesis had some pretty lolzy vox

One of the only albums I can listen to all the way through and not get bored. Best album of 2010, easily.
I've listened to the rest of the Enslaved catalog, and none of them even come close to this one in pure quality of song writing and production.
