ah I have 23 on my list to revisit next, maybe after a few more days of this. Yeah the whole thing is solid. I forgot I had this cd until recently, and it never really clicked hard until now. Gets me all psyched to randomly gas up my car at night.

title track from 23 since I found it on a couple shoegaze playlists, it frequently pops up on my library and I really love it, but the only one I've heard in full was Fake Can be Just as Good, definitely not what I was expecting but interesting listen nonetheless, in fact I should spin it again and let it sink in

Hahaha you've got their two extremes mapped out there - 23 album is a dope listen, and I really like Fake. That one's more challenging, but if you can get into it, In an Expression... is like a weirder sequel and almost as good
Either way, you should check Misery Is A Butterfly. Amazing album, kinda like creepy anxious chamber pop that doesn't really sound like anything else in their discog
