Hendrix's worst studio album. It feels more like a collection of singles than an actual album. Give me axis or electric ladyland any day over this one.
Best debut album in the history of debut albums!
really awesome review entwistle. i like your style. great album definitley gonna gte some more hendrix stuff. and yeah noal redding sucks hard especially when playing with the likes of mitch mitchell and jimi hendrix. apparently jimi only got him to play with the band cause of his hair doo.
This has cool psychedelic stuff, but frankly, not enough.
Jimi's worst album.
id rate this equally with electric ladyland, which i think is great, axis has got to be my fav though
I like the album but this is more of a review of jimi hendrix than the actual album.
I wish i would not have read this review
Its weird because this is the only Jimi Hendrix album that I dont absolutely love. Aside from some of the guitar, the album isnt particularly enjoyable
One of the most influential rock musicians.
Digging: Vektor - Terminal Redux
Jimi is the only person I can listen to from the 60's and not get bored with. Very good album.
Album Rating: 5.0
Erm, why the fuck does this only have just over a 100 votes?
People are sleeping under rocks.
I think it's to do with the album being moved from the Jimi Hendrix page to the Jimi Hendrix Experience page. I think all of the ratings were lost somehow. I actually noticed the other day that I no longer had this rated.
Digging: Miles Davis / Robert Glasper - Everything's Beautiful
Album Rating: 5.0
