I've been looking into James Murphy's back catalogue and realized I've missed A LOT of good stuff. Giving this a spin after Disincarnate.

Simplistic boring album.

The production is good, but there are few memorable riffs to compliment it. The only decent thing about this album is the drumming. The wimpy vocals and leads are forgettable.

John Tardy's backup vocals save the final track 'Die Die.' When John Walker says Die Die it just sounds so fucking weak.

The 'best' track is Into The Acid.
