Nah, I'm keeping my 5. I seriously love "Take a Pebble," "Tank," and "The Three Fates."

Just got this on vinyl. Mark my words, Opeth fans are going to be flooding this band once they realize the new stuff is an ELP rip off.

Impressive debut to say the least. "Take a Pebble" and "The three Fates" are obvious highlights, but any song from here is just as good as any other.

Probably the 3rd in the first 4 for me.. Still a solid 4.. Mine would probably be BSS, Trilogy, this, Tarkus

BSS for his consistency, Karn Evil, Still..You Turn Me On(but Toccata is too over the top),

Trilogy has no real bad tracks and Hoedown plus The Endless Enigma are really nice,

This one has Take my Pebble, Barbarian, Lucky Man, but god I dislike The Three Fates and Tank so much

Tarkus has Tarkus probably my favorite track from them but so inconsistent. It still have 2-3 other tracks that are excellent

It's just a shame that they cannot tone down the ultimate wanking sometimes(like on Tank, Toccata, The Three Fates) . I would probably have a "classic" rating if they could songwrite an entire album

This and Pictures at an Exhibition are their best albums for me. This is definitely more consistent/cohesive than Brain Salad Surgery (and obviously much more so than Tarkus).

I don't really like Pictures.. Maybe because I listened to a version done by an orchestra, which is better for me

And like every artists I like, the albums ranking change.. It's like with GG. Sometimes it's IAGH, FH, Octopus or ATT.. It depends of the mood.. With Genesis sometimes it's Foxtrott, some Selling..

I just heard the new Opeth album a couple days ago, and it brought back so many memories of this band, early Genesis, and other symphonic prog greats.
