I love this album as a whole so much. It's certainly in my top 50 rock albums.

The risk makes it all the more rewarding. King crimson's Lizard was their most experimental at this point in their career, only two albums in, releasing this jumbled, jazz fusion piece could either have been a flop, or a enormous success. (In, my opinion) While they had albums and pieces that in the end are far superior to this 1970 classic, This album finds a place in my heart, and is one of my personal favorites.

Original or reissue?

Reissue I presume JT, wasn't very expensive. It sounds different to the CD that I have, which is one of the 40th anniversary series.
EDIT: just checked, it's the original stereo mix.
