I've heard the title track countless times and it's never really grabbed me. It's not bad, and there are some parts to it I enjoy, but overall meh. Liking most of the other tracks a lot more

Nino listen to the live version of this album's title track from the album Bursting Out, it's superior in pretty much every way.

Thanks for the rec. You were right; this is much better. The vocal performance in particular is noticeably better

t/t was one of the best songs I've ever heard live, they had their setlist end on a slow song I've never heard of before and the entire audience was pretty lame during it, so when Tull walked off stage there was a slight hang of disappointment... until Aqualung's intro riff blasted out of nowhere for an encore... I've never seen so many 60-year-old men go crazy during a concert

JT, you prefer this over TaaB, right?, I really think this is way more consistent tbh

They're about equal, although recently I've been leaning more towards Thick as a Brick which in my opinion is actually slightly more consistent than this. Both are top 2 prog.

Only heard 3 tracks from this album, Aqualung, Mother Goose and Locomotive Breath. I like all three of them, especially the title track.

Dug this album quite a bit, it is a little heavy for my taste, or at least heavy to begin with, but when it progressed, I got to hear the acoustic Ian Anderson that I have come to know and love.

Acoustic Anderson is generally best Anderson.

Everything about this is basically Anderson at his best though.
