except i gave several reasons other than the monotonous breakdowns. this is not a good album at all. there is absolutely no diversity. vincent has a terrible vocal display. and the to top it off there are 100+ breakdowns. that is unnecessary no matter the genre.

man, people are getting really liberal with the term 'breakdown' and on top of that, what the f*cks so bad about a breakdown? if it sounds good, it fits. just because anyone with a guitar can play it, doesnt make it shit.

Good review.

Band sucks. 1.5 is pretty generous tbh. Whether you like or dislike the deathcore genre, these guys deserve a cunt punt for this abomination.

It sucks you have to get into these arguments with these eliteists who feel the need to review cd's in genres they dont even like.

god, statements like this are so fucking cliched and retarded. And probably indicative of the intelligence of people who listen to this music

Absolutely. In fact, we shouldn't even classify anyone who listens to "this music" as "people." We
should probably call them "Deathcore." Anything else clearly warrants a good turd to the mouth.

i would like to go back a few statements to someone who was defending Vincents quote. you do realize that just because he says they're not deathcore doesn't mean they aren't? i could say i'm a whale but it doesn't make me a whale. they have all the characteristics of deathcore oh and heavy isn't a genre; which i found amusing since he didn't want to be labeled yet in the end he tried to anyway.

I just finished listening to this. Def. 1.5. The sheer lack of any diversification and the inappropriate breakdown fetish is really laughable.

Wasn't defending the quote; was disliking genre-whoring.

I don't give a flying fuck if he calls himself/is CTHULHU-CORE. Shit, I like the album. You evidently don't. That's all that should really matter.

It's just stupid when people try to pass those OPINIONS off ass undeniable fact. Just because you don't like said breakdowns/lyrics doesn't make them objectively bad.

The reason why I hesitate to review is because I'd like to be objective when I try to judge music for others. There's a clear different between what I believe, enjoy or don't enjoy and what is objectively good. You could drop the album to a 1; I don't care. But you're not gonna convince me that I'm an errant simpleton and you're superior because I happen to like breakdowns and you don't.

notice my objectivity score, it's 96% which means i'm extremely unbiased compared to a lot of other people on this site.
did you read my first sentence?
did you notice how i described why the breakdowns were inherently bad in the third paragraph?
if you could show me where i stated opinion as fact that would be great. how else is a negative review supposed to sound if their aren't negative adjectives?

For the record: I didn't neg your review. I haven't rated it at all, and I would have probably pos'd it if I did. IntoLaCosa is a lot worse than you are.

Review was fine. Wasn't talking shit about it. But don't try to convert me.

Was talking about the comments. It's just a difference of opinion. I find it kind of interesting that they managed to put breakdowns in where none existed before.

Winsomniac, you're making me agree with fromtheinside for once, shut the fuck up. You're sense of "objectivity" is completely flawed and circular. Seriously, fuck off.

Holy shit, not this dumbfuck argument again. Does he have to put IN MY OPINION before every statement to show you that its his opinion?

please put your head in a plastic bag and asphyxiate yourself
