it's not hardcore at all, but it's closer to hardcore than deathcore. because there are actually hardcore influences in it.

Just stop now, please. You'll only continue to embarrass yourself and retrace yours steps.

All deathcore has hardcore in it. That's why it has the word "-core" in it. I guess I just had to inform you of that.

i'm embarrassing myself? you're the one saying that this album is death metal influenced.

if there was actually a blast beat on this album (and i don't remember any) it was through one part of one song.

i guess august burns red and as i lay dying and pretty much any popular metalcore band are now deathcore because they also use "lows" and their drummers make use of the incredibly gr1m "blast beat"

No, you're trying to justify your argument, which doesn't really make sense considering that this and the other two bands you mentioned sound very little alike. That's what you're trying to do, and you are failing miserably.

It's deathcore. I'm done.

it doesn't matter if they sound little alike. your argument is: this is deathcore because there are lows and blastbeats. that makes it death metal influenced.

by your logic that makes all those bands also deathcore bands because they also incorporate low vocals and their drummers play blastbeats occasionally. therefore making them death metal influenced.

i'm using your logic here, and you're still calling me dumb. wat

and if i'm failing, how come you aren't saying anything to refute my statments?

"says the guy who rated a dance gavin dance album the same as jane doe and we are the romans."

ah i hate when people do this. i don't agree with those ratings either but that's his ratings and his own business, don't be a douche.

as far as the genre argument goes, the only thing other than deathcore that you could call this is metalcore. calling it hardcore will get you shot. just sayin. either way it's most likely shitty.

Im still trying to figure out why the fuck they used 8 string guitars on this album? they hardly use all 6 strings let alone 8 strings.

and Tactical Nuke... just no. Continent > my shit > this

The lyrics do nothing for me. All the anti-Christianity is a huge turn-off. Any band that targets religion needs to do so in a way that isn't TYPICAL. I'm just bored of it all by now.

"The Beast features Vincent doing more of a rough yell, and comes closer to singing than ever before. You can find him doing this once or twice more on the album"
I hope you aren't referring to Jamey Jasta's guest vocals.
