You tortured little girl
Showing them what love is all about
Where did all the time go?
Everywhere it’s gone, gone, gone

one of my favorite tracks, though both of the david lynch tracks are unreal

So this is better than a 3.5

I feel like I would think a lot of these songs were so-so if they were by some random band but there's some quality about this album that makes them really good. Gonna bump this.

I am so fucking sick of this stupid ass ad.

this album feels like a film at times, or at least more like a huge production that sort of nulls the whole collaborative effort.

Eno I think you nailed it but that raises it from like a 3.25 to 3.75 for me

well it's like you don't really know who's doing what. it's hard to hear what's sparklehorse and what is dangermouse, plus all the features had a role in songwriting. all of that seems to culminate in one huge production. each feature feels like an acting role or some kind of monologue(especially vic chesnutt and wayne coyne).

little girl and pain are both all great tracks as well, a mix of sort of cinematic humor and really good production

I find myself loving every track, though I find Everytime I'm With You a tad bit grating
