I think you owe me an apology. You left me waiting in the desert for the rain. And I reach my mouth towards the sky, only to find my lungs have FILLED WITH SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND.

I dig this album a little less now, and PTF a bit more. But still incredibly solid release. It's been a pretty good year for breakdown-centric metalcore.

maybe I've listened to the bled for so long, but i see very minute similarities to every time i die. so why all the parallel comparisons?

comparing this to silent treatment which actually ends in the fifth track(the rest of the album sounds exactly the same imo),heat fetish is so much better and not boring at all
I haven't heard pass the flask yet though,so I can't really say anything about that one

I preferred Heat Fetish for a while, but over time Pass the Flask totally took over.

The reason PtF was so great was it was sort of a new sound. Is Heat Fetish as innovative as PtF? No, but it's still great. The Last Cowboy is still the best thing they've ever done tho.

Found in the Flood was the first I heard by them, love how they have their hardcore segments and slower ambient stuff mixed in with it. Love PTF because it's damn brutal and a good breakup/pissed off cd. Silent Treatment is awesome, don't know why it doesn't get as much love. This is their weakest imo, loved it at first but it def. did not have the staying power that their other albums had. Still a solid album, 3.5 or so don't know what rating I gave and am too lazy to change it.

Strange to think this band went absolutely nowhere. But it's funny that the drummer stole from MCR.
