MJ money have you ever consider NOT listening to this album. This music just ain't your thing man. Listening to it and being angry about it is gonna get you nowhere. Why don't you write a review about an album you actually like and just focus on that. You're an excellent writer and I'm sure we'd all rather see you praising an album than absolutely beating it to death with your intellectualism.

Best negative review, most accurate imo. I finally convinced myself to listen to parts of this album, and I agree with a lot of the points in the review. The lyrics are far too pretentious to be taken seriously, and the vocals are annoying for the most part. However, the band does rather well at times. Probably a 3-3.5 for me. Haven't heard the whole thing yet, so my opinion is more than likely to change. Have a pos.

Emim, I honestly think you could've cut all the stuff about the controversy and all since the whole thing is really stupid but otherwise I greatly admire you for trying to bring some reason to the whole situation unlike the whole goddamn site

i saw that clip about "Decompositions" about a year ago, and needless to say, it still infuriates me. the new tracks sound just as wretched as the ones from As the Roots Undo. i hated having to hear Drew's cowardly voice with its sibylline s's. i hated having to briefly see him shirtless driving that car. i also hated having to see Kathy's dogface staring into the camera and making weird noises. also, it offended me that they had the gall to be driving on what looked like Interstate 80 on the approach to New York
