Ok I officially retract my uncertainty about this being the real deal. Been through it at least 6-7 more times and the album is fucking amazing. I'm pretty shocked that he wrote this in highschool. The new one is either equally amazing or even better so far.. haven't been through it quite as many times yet.

^Totally correct. This album is so good but overall it feels a bit like a novelty act just because of the jarring transitions between songs that have some structure and weight and those that are just ridiculous. That's part of the fun of the album for sure but what's lost a bit when you do something like that is a sense of an overarching message or focus. The new album has all of the awesomeness of this but it is so much more well conceived and functions a a whole unit instead of just a collection of really awesome songs. Might write a review for it in the coming days if no one else does.. it deserves some attention. I haven't been able to find a single review online and it's already been out for about 2 weeks.

Niice. Yeah it sucks no one knows about this because it's so awesome. I can definitely see someone absolutely hating it just because it's so out there but if you're open minded it's pretty amazing.
