Condemned to Obscurity & Orphans of Sickness are so good... I think this is growing on me, at first I just liked the atmosphere & general feel of the album but now individual riffs/passages are beginning to reveal themselves a little more.

Play games AND listen to music. You just need to find games where the sound isn't essential & the game itself isn't overly taxing, therefore it won't be diverting your attention away from the music too much.

I like turn based games too, anything that's a bit more chilled & doesn't require lightning reflexes is good these days actually. And not because I get stoned but I do have a couple of beers sometimes & it's just more relaxing.

I never listen to outside music when playing games. I can't imagine forgoing a significant portion of the game's sound design for the sake of jamming my own music.

@Astral - I think it depends on your priorities & how much free time you have. I don't get enough free time to play games & listen to tons of music & although I prioritise the latter I still enjoy the former, just on a more casual basis.
