That one's the only one that rivals this for me. They're about equal actually.

i'd put this slightly below bss and trilogy but still above tarkus

although i think the song tarkus beats this whole album

Haven't jammed ELP in so long, maybe that should change

I dunno I just find this more consistently enjoyable than any other ELP album. Self titled starts off awesome and then drops off about halfway through. The best moments on the s/t (first half) make it pretty much level with this though.

I like this, but I enjoy the debut, Tarkus, and Trilogy more

As an album Tarkus is pretty weak. Trilogy is good but only The Endless Enigma comes close to the best moments on here.

trilogy's more consistent than tarkus or bss but lacks a standout epic

I like Enigma as much as Tarkus' title track and almost as much as Karn Evil 9.

ELP's best record I think. Their rendition of the Great Gates of Kyiv is pretty sweet.

Damn, where's the debut love, guys? :/ That's still my fave and I'd consider it the band's most consistent
