I remember when Until the Quiet Comes came out. I had like 500+ plays within like two days. Shit was mad
addictive.

---

Not really sure if I like the new one that much atm, which is kind of disappointing/surprising because FlyLo
is one of my favs and I like everything he's put out previous.

flylo can be a grower tho, some of his stuff comes off a little abrasive until you get to know it better

i loved it right off first listen tbh but it took until the build up to the kendrick feat song to start to be able to appreciate what the first handful of tracks were building up to

New FlyLo is excellent, but like Until the Quiet Comes is on a level below Cosmogramma and LA. One of the better records this year but not Aoty IMO. That new Objekt record tho >>

I agree except for 1984, which is basically him impersonating J Dilla.

there's nothing wrong with that anyway. and it can be argued that dilla was just impersonating pete rock on some of his stuff so :]

just a fantastic lineage of artists idolizing each other and inspiring each other to be the greatest at what they do

You're dead is by far his most jazz-like album... i dunno its just not sitting well with me. Its not the smooth beat magic that im used to in flylo
