Damn, that sentence came out odd.
I suppose Cosmogramma is really quite different from the albums I mentioned. I meant to say it wasn't really comparing them, so much as I was lumping them all within the electronic genre. I left out a few including Gonjasufi and The Knife, plus whatever electronic releases I've yet to catch up with.
In general it was a stupid, unthought out statement.

you need to listen to more electronic stuff if you've never heard anything like this before. i'm not saying that this isn't crazy good (i actually love this) but it's not all that different from a lot of other stuff doing the rounds (although one of the best examples of).

I know they sound nothing alike, but those are both considered essential albums from their respective genres, both of which seem to be the main influences here.
