even if the song (and, in fact, the entire album) remains in 4/4 time throughout its duration.

Piano Fights is in 11/8

"Piano Fights is in 11/8" (Skimaskcheck)

Aye, and Mountainhead spends its whole time and best moments fluctuating between 4/4 and 9/8. It makes for some glorious crowd confusion live, a setting which now resembles more of a rave.

I'm a little disappointed by their lack of tiny mathy elements and glitches that they used to have, but their gigs are increasingly fantastic events. Piano Fights, Mountainhead, Weak4, Crash Tactics and Debutante are all highlights live. I've resigned myself to the feeling that I'll never hear more than A Failsafe and Primer from the previous CD live ...

Verdict of the album at 3.5 temporarily until I get to hold the album in my hands in its full flowing, uncompressed glory, because a couple of songs feel a tad weak. Verdict of them in a live setting is still pushing towards the-best-f'ing-show-around.

Yeah they were awesome live last year, before this, but this is definitely an album built for a live setting

meant to be seeing them again next week but it's a bit far away so i'm not sure if i'll be able to make it, hope so though

This is their best album methinks, I love it so much. I think this is one of the few bands I like that are better when they are more electronic and less rock-oriented.

Since I bought it (3 months ago) I wasn't able to listen to it carefully. Somehow, this whole electronic thing simply don't please my ears. It's still cool, but plenty different from the "original" 65dos.

Same here. I've seen live clips that are just sweet. Would be in awe if I actually was there.
