This is good but nothing more. Glad to see you keep on trucking Hawks. I think the critique has already been handed to you so I will just say you covered all bases with this album.

Well bloozclooz since you like Naglfar and Dark Fortress, which are both melodic black metal, I don't know how you're going to like this. This is pretty much nothing like those bands.

And thanks Wiz. Yeah I've been wanting to review something for the past few days so I just decided to give it a go.

No, you did. Dark Funeral are the only band more monotonous and boring than 1349.

Haha so I'm guessing you're not going to listen to this Coke.

Nope. I listened to the last one because I was ensured (albeit by their publicist) it was unique and interesting. Well, I guess it was unique. Just also really terrible.

It's not that these guys are particularly awful it's just too samey and repetitive for me.

well i've only heard Eidolon and Ylem from Dark Funeral. and both of those were incredibly varied.

Coke speaks the truth. I would also throw a few Marduk albums on there as well.

Marduk started out good, then had a really shitty boring mid period and then got kinda good again

Well that's definitely understandable.

I pretty much agree with this. Only I would say they got really good again because some of their recent albums are great.

ROM 5:12 is my favorite from them. Plague Angel is pretty sweet too.

yeah, definitely listen to Cocaine and Crysis and fix some of those things that they've mentioned. I've never heard this band, but I'll give them a shot since the album is streaming.

I think you might like this Trey. Then again, though, I could be dead wrong and you could hate everything about this. I just don't know.
